We are Vantage Path
Our name won’t tell you a lot until you get to know us; we’re determined to change that.
At Vantage Path, we build products that enable our clients to create e-Learning content, expand their market reach, and grow their clientele.
Our technology is stable, efficient, and does what it’s asked to do. Our user interface, the Learning Studio, is a single sign-on gateway to every feature and function you might need; whether taking or building a course, managing your students, or viewing revenue and sales reports.
Our goal is to make Vantage Path synonymous with the best e-Learning experience on the web.
Our Story
Several years ago our founding partners were in an enviable but unsustainable position. Both were independent learning professionals with demand for their consulting and workshops outpacing their availability to deliver. There simply weren’t enough hours in the week. How could they meet the demand and still have time for the important things in life?
At the time, e-Learning was typically a training course developed or purchased by a large organization for their employees and usually of a technical nature that was specific to their business (e.g. Thrust reverser maintenance for the CFM56-3 Turbofan engine). e-Learning at the Learning Professional level was usually a Powerpoint file with audio. More often than not, the expert was in attendance as well to field any questions.
An opportunity identified, G and N began building a business plan and supporting organization that would enable individuals and corporations to inexpensively build, market, and manage e-Learning. And the e-Learning needed to be much more engaging than it had been in the past – interactivity, testing, and high production values would guarantee high student retention.
Early attempts at building courses and a delivery platform are better left unmentioned. Our shareholder’s patience was stretched. But with each iteration, we learned what worked as well as what didn’t. Most importantly, we have learned that continuous improvement is one of our core values.
Each of our team members bring a unique set of skills and experience which, when combined, exemplifies the ‘sum of the parts’ axiom. All the more remarkable considering the multiple cultures that coexist, and indeed thrive in our office – North America, Sri Lanka, Croatia, France, Philippines, Australia, China, Mac users, and the Kazahk Steppes are all represented. At lunchtime, the staff lunchroom takes on the heady aromas of an outdoor street market.
What Makes Us Different
At Vantage Path, we know that technology is only part of the solution. Fighter jets could be designed to fly faster if the pilot was able to tolerate the forces generated. Instead, the jet is designed for agility. The aircraft is designed to compensate for the pilot’s limitations.
We have taken a similar approach to our product design. The underlying technology is complex so we have designed our Learning Studio with the goal that anyone should be able to fly it – whatever their level of technical proficiency. Just like you, we are people too. It’s an annoyance when technology doesn’t work as advertised or is so complex it’s more of a barrier than an enabler. Our emphasis on the user experience is what sets us apart.
